This customer had an older HP desktop that was still useful and served all their needs but the fan went out on the power supply causing it do overheat and shut down. After the computer was on for a few minutes there was a warning beep and it would shut down unexpectedly. Most computers have a built in defense against overheating where they will shut down to prevent permanent damage to the components.
