The user of this laptop was forced into a Windows 10 update and when it completed it would no longer boot into Windows. The computer would start to boot into the new Windows 10 and would hang for hours on a spinning waiting icon.
We were able to clear the update and get the laptop to boot correctly again and repair any damage done by the unwanted Windows 10 upgrade. Windows 10 works now once any issues had been sorted out with the laptop before the upgrade.
Windows 10 has been out for about 6 months at this point and Microsoft is getting aggressive with updating Windows 7 and 8 users. You should still get a choice on whether or not you want to upgrade but sometimes they are hiding it in amongst other updates you might want.
If you have had issues with a planned Windows 10 upgrade or have been upgraded without knowing it then please contact us today to either revert back to Windows 7 or 8 (you have 30 days after the upgrade to go back) or fix any upgrade issues.
Please call us today to schedule a time to repair your laptop or desktop with Windows 10 upgrade issues.
This customer was upgrading an older, slower Acer desktop PC to a new Dell PC but wanted to copy all their data (photos, music, videos, documents, etc) to the new PC. We were able to copy everything over to the new PC so it looked exactly like the old one, even down to the desktop wallpaper.
If you are upgrading your desktop or laptop and would like your data moved and preserved please give us a call @ 828-290-9092
This user was getting a new Dell PC but wanted to keep their previous PC as a backup and 2nd computer for the home. We were able to physically clean the years of dirt and dust from inside and the bloated software running on the computer to make it run better than it had in years. We also added more RAM to speed things up even more.
If you are upgrading to a new computer you may still have some life left in your old computer! Call us at 828.290.9092 to setup a time to have yours cleaned up.
This Acer Aspire Desktop was cleaned up inside and out. Fans and vents were clogged and damage was being done to components from overheating.
After the clean-up the computer ran smoother, faster, quieter, and safer than ever before. We also replaced a DVD drive that would not open and removed a serious virus infection that had rendered the computer unusable.
