This project was to replace a wireless network that had been patched together over the years to provide wireless to a large church. Because it used consumer routers as access points and was a mishmash of hardware it had issues with signal strength and the ability for many users to access the system at once.
We replaced all the existing wireless access points, router and switches to upgrade to Gigabit network speeds and provide a reliable and consistent WIFI signal to the whole building under one unified network. We also replaced their existing business router to handle the increased usage now that the WIFI signal was working throughout the building and would be used more extensively.
The customer also took advantage of the network equipment’s ability to have a built-in guest network to separate the business side from the public facing side of the network.
